Livelihood

Youth Employment Program is to support young people who are facing difficulties in seeking employment either due to lack of appropriate information, necessary skills, work experience or abilities required to enhance their employability potential. Today, young people with existing education have relatively fewer employment opportunities than their counterparts fifty years ago. This program helps the youth to develop soft skills, stressing communication, conflict resolution, etc. Mock job interviews are very useful as also information on appropriate job opportunities, and the need to build leadership skills through tailor-made job-training program. CYDA also provides eligible candidates with short-term financial support to explore self-employment opportunities
